Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the ground beef, cooking until browned and fully cooked.
Mix in bell pepper and zucchini, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the mixture and stir well.
Pour in the heavy cream and cook, stirring frequently, until heated through.
Combine the drained pasta with the beef and veggie mixture, tossing to coat evenly.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese just before serving.
Notes
Serve with a sprinkle of additional Cajun seasoning for extra flavor. Pair with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
