Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Stir in the broken lasagna noodles.
Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until noodles are tender.
Stir in the heavy cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and pepper. Heat through until cheese melts.
Serve hot, topped with extra mozzarella if desired.
Notes
Add fresh parsley for a burst of color and freshness before serving. Pair with a crisp salad.
