Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onions, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each burger.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
Remove the burgers from the heat and let rest for a few minutes. Serve on toasted buns with tomato, lettuce, and pickles.
