Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas with melted butter.
Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until well combined.
In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
Fold in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
