Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the flank steak on both sides until browned.
Transfer the steak to the crockpot. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic on top of the steak.
In a bowl, mix together the beef broth and soy sauce, then pour over the ingredients in the crockpot.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the steak is tender.
Once cooked, remove the steak and slice it. Thicken the sauce with the cornstarch mixture, if desired, and serve over the steak.
Notes
Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
