Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, Italian seasoning, and half of the pizza sauce.
Form the mixture into four equally sized patties.
Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
During the last couple of minutes of cooking, top each patty with pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes.
Serve the burgers on toasted buns garnished with pepperoni slices.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding fresh basil or crushed red pepper on top.
