Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add in the vanilla extract and mix to combine.
Gradually fold in the flour and chopped pecans, mixing until just blended.
Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll them into balls.
Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-18 minutes.
Once baked, allow them to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
Notes
For a festive twist, add a pinch of cinnamon to the dough.
