Instructions
Preparation Steps
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the garlic and onion until softened.
Add sliced mushrooms and thyme to the skillet, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms become tender.
Transfer the sautéed mixture to the slow cooker and pour in the sherry. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until mushrooms are well infused with flavor.
Notes
Serve with fresh crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. A sprinkle of fresh parsley adds a nice touch.
